These highly reflective chrome shells can be tricky to capture since they reflect like a mirror.
1st pic is reflecting the black background but you can see better how good the chrome still looks after 50 years.
Last two pics are reflecting the white background onto the shell so it does not show the chrome as accurately here.

These metal shell Premier 2000 range marching snares have a different & superior character compared to the 3ply birch versions which are also a lot more common.
When undampened this rings like a MoFo.
These rare snare drums can be used for Military Bands, Metal, Hard rock, Solo percussion work, and whatever else your musical imagination comes up with.
When Page and Plant (Zeppelin) toured Oz in ’96, Michael Lee their replacement for Bonham was using one of these metal marching snares and it sounded unbelievably good.
