Reso head is a vintage 22” calfskin.

Batter is an 22” ambassador coated.

In the 1930s, Ludwig Universal bass drums were typically made with mahogany shells. The interior of the shells often featured mahogany and reinforcement rings, and sometimes included poplar.

This would make a wonderful bass drum display and is a visually stunning piece to celebrate the rich history of Ludwig drums.
