Brazilian 14 x 5.5 rare wood snare drum; stunning finish

This Odery snare is handmade from Imbuia, which is a wood indigenous to the southern regions of Brazil.

Brazil’s environmental regulations are so strict that the only Imbuia trees that can be cut into timber are those that fall due to the forces of nature.

Imbuia trees have a lifespan of up to nine hundred years.

This drum is made from 300 years old wood and exhibits beautiful grain patterns and textures. (both inside and outside)
