Highly reflective chrome shells are tricky to capture accurately since they reflect the background like a mirror.

No internal top snare wires allows the shell to ring more freely than if there was an internal top snare.

Fantastic sounding brass shell in outstanding condition – rare for this drums age.

(has been cased and hibernating for the last couple of decades)

These metal shell Premier snares / marching snares have a different & superior character compared to the 3ply birch versions & this brass shell version is much rarer and sounds absolutely fantastic.

When undampened rings like a MoFo.

These rare snares can be used for Military Bands, Metal, Hard rock, Solo percussion work, and whatever else your musical imagination comes up with.

When Page and Plant (Zeppelin) toured Oz in ’96, Michael Lee their replacement for Bonham was using one of these metal marching snares and it sounded unbelievably good.

He was using a customized lowered snare stand so it would sit at a comfortable height.
