Premier 60s vintage; Blue Shimmer, birch, 3/4pce shellpack

Premier kits like this were used by many British, European, and Australian bands on classic 60s & 70s recordings and live shows.

Ringo used a 1950s Premier kit live in the very early Beatles years and on the first Beatles album!

(And funnily enough, most people thought it was a Ludwig kit until it was revealed it was a Premier!!!).

3ply vintage Birch shells can really sing; with a musical brightness that injects great energy into your music.

Die-cast hoops on both Toms give them greater strength, tune-ability and keep them in tune longer.

And they’re round forever and give you perfect rim shots.

This kit has the “hourglass figure” sexy shaped long-lugs, some of the more stylish lugs in the rock universe…!

There is some corrosion on the chrome which is common on kits of this age and should not spoil your playing pleasure.

Vintage Premier kits with their thin, birch shells and amazing sounding die-cast hoops, offer an inspiring, alternative sound to many other vintage drum companies kits, which have become highly collectable and can cost a lot more than vintage Prems!

Toms are Pre-international sizes:
22 x 14” bass drum
12 x 8” mounted tom (12in heads and pre-international sized heads both fit)
16 x 16” floor tom

(Heads are available for both toms thru Drum shops that sell Remo heads.)
