Slingerland 70’s Gene Krupa 14 x 6.5” rare COB snare –

These Gene Krupa model 14 x 6.5” fantastic sounding snares are much rarer than the Ludwig and Rogers in the same size.

This snare dates to the 70’s and is in outstanding condition with brilliant chrome.
Has been stored in a case and not had much use lately..

There is some very minor corrosion on a couple of the lugs which is common for 50 year old snares.

Made in Niles, Illinois.

Each vintage drum companies snare models have their own sound character and this retro Slingerland has an excellent distinctive, explosive COB crack with warm resonance.
