UFIP Ritmo 70s Thin 14in hi-hats. Sound like Zildjians
Back in the 70s, Zildjian was making thinner hi-hats and so were UFIP, an Italian cymbal company that began manufacturing cymbals in 1931.
I have sold many UFIP cymbals over the past 4 decades and found their 70s Ritmos hihats can sound a lot like vintage Zildjians.
This pair of 70s vintage hi-hats is thin, sweet, sizzly, fast, funky, and noticeably Ringo-ish in sound, ala the Beatles in the early to mid-60s.
So if you like that sound, these are for you.
These gems sound nothing like the modern UFIPs currently in shops that you may already be familiar with and sound awesome in a more modern kind of way.
